Hello Together 🙂 !
Can’t believe it …. But it’s December !! How did that happen ?!
Maybe you’re feeling the same and still have tons to do before the gentleman with the long white beard and his four legged friends come for a visit…….so we’ll make this really short ….
House
No, we haven’t managed to move in, but the gyp rock walls in the house and the connector building are all filled and sanded and Franks just getting the primer on, then give it another sand down, paint and then we have finished walls !!
And here…..see any difference?…
Yep…..metal fascia and rain gutters up and running……..so happy that’s finally done 🙂 !
Next week our wood floor will be delivered and we’ll have to see when we can start laying that.
But for now we’re happy with what we’re achieved…..especially as I was racing to get everything prepared for the
Lunenburg Christmas Crafts Fair
It was still so much to do and organize and Frank helped building another display while I was jumping between candle- and soap making, decorations for the wreaths, making crackle toffees and decorating the glasses and making some nice recycled vases for the little table decorations and so much more….and all in the tiny space of the camper………I can’t wait to get a room for crafting !
We drove down on Friday evening to set everything up and yesterday was the first day of the fair and so far I’m really happy with sales and if Sunday will be as good…then I’ll have a jam packed week ahead of me making all kinds of new things for the next fair at New Ross!
Weather
The mix of cold, windy, wet weather usually would make you think there’s no way to get some amazing views……..but Mother Nature always reminds you of what she’s capable of 😉
Coming to the End
We’re still wrestling and not giving up hope that we’ll spend Christmas in the house … but there’s still a lot to do, so we’ll see.
Because of all of the upcoming work, we’ll have to skip another week of writing a blog 😦
Never the less from us to you a wonderful 1. Advent which we hope you’ll spend with family and friends…and if you’re in the area and don’t know what to do today……we’re going to be at the Lunenburg Christmas Crafts Fair all day 😉

02. Dez. 2018-Wir wuenschen einen schoenen 1. Advent!
Hallo Zusammen 🙂
Unglaublich aber wahr….es ist Dezember!!! Wie konnte das denn passieren ?!
Wahrscheinlich geht’s Euch genauso und Ihr habt noch haufenweise zu tun ehe der Mann mit dem weissen Bart und seine vierbeinigen Freund auf einen Stop vorbeikommen …..also werden wir’s heute richtig kurz machen…
Haus
Nein, eingezogen sind wir noch nicht, aber die Rigsplatten in Haus und Verbindungsgebaeude sind verspachtelt und geschliffen, Frank hat zum groessten Teil schon die Grundierung drauf, dann nur noch einmal abschleifen, streichen und dann sind die Waende auch endlich fertig !!
Und hier…faellt Euch ein Unterschied auf …
Ja….die Metalleisten und Regenrinnen sind dran und tun schon ihren Dienst 🙂 !
Naechste Woche koennen wir unseren Holzfussboden abholen und mal sehen, wann wir anfangen koennen, den zu verlegen.
Aber, fuer den Augenblick sind wir ziemlich zufrienden mit dem was wir geschafft haben….besonders, weil ich mehr mit den Vorbereitungen fuer den Weihnachtsmarkt beschaeftigt war 😉
Lunenburg Weihnachtsmarkt
Es war wirklich noch viel vorzubereiten und Frank war auch noch damit beschaeftigt neue Displays zu bauen, waehrend ich zwischen Seife und Kerzenmachen, Kranzdekorationen, Toffees kochen und recyclte Glaeser dekorieren, um damit kleine Tischegestecke zu machen…….und das alles auf kleinstem Raum im Wohnwagen….ich kann’s nicht erwarten, irgendwann mal einen Bastelraum zu haben 😉
Naja, am Freitag sind wir abends jedenfalls schon mal nach Lunenburg gefahren und gestern war der erste Verkaufstag und es lief wirklich gut! Heute dann nochmal durchziehen und so wie’s aussieht wird die kommende Woche wieder Volldampf sein, damit der Tisch fuer den naechsten Markt in New Ross wieder voll ist 😉
Wetter
Bei dem Wettermischmasch von kaltem, windigem und nassem Wetter sollte man nicht glauben, dass da auch was Schoenes daraus hervorgehen kann…..aber, Mutter Natur erinnert einen immer wieder daran, was sie so “drauf” hat 😉
Wir kommen zum Ende
Der Glaube stirbt bekanntlich als Letztes und so hoffen wir auch weiterhin darauf, dass wir einen Weihnachtsbaum im Haus aufstellen werden koennen……aber, da muessen wir noch ein bisschen ranklotzen.
Da die kommende Woche wieder mit Arbeit und dem Markt am Wochenende mehr als vollgepackt ist, werden wir Euch leider wieder um eine Woche bis zum naechsten Blog vertroesten muessen 😦
Nichts desto trotz wuenschen wir Euch heute einen besinnlichen 1. Advent im Kreise Eurer Lieben und nur das Beste von uns an Euch..

Es freut mich zu sehen, wie sich alles weiterentwickelt! Und mal eben so “nebenher” all die Vorbereitungen für die Weihnachtsmärkte …
Ich las gerade erst mit Verspätung deine Antwort auf einen meiner früheren Kommentare und darin auch über deinen Allergieschock. Uiuiui, das war ja wirklich nicht ohne!
Um so mehr bewundere ich, dass du jetzt wieder fit durch die Gegend düst! Schön, dass es in Lunenburg gut läuft. Ich drücke auch für den heutigen Tag die Daumen – genauso wie für das nächste Event dieser Art, das angepeilt ist!
Hier aus Hamburg eine recht schöne (wenn auch weiterhin busy) Adventszeit!

vielen Dank fuer Deine lieben Worte ! Ich bin immer ganz hin und weg, wo Du die Zeit hernimmst “nebenbei” Deine wundervollen und informativen Blogs zu schreiben !!
Hier bei uns scheint es so zu sein, dass wir die “Ziellinie riechen” koennen und das scheint nochmals Kraefte zu mobilisieren…….oder vielleicht ist es einfach die Angst, bei der naechsten Kaeltewelle wieder im Wohnwagen einzufrieren 😉
Die Maerkte sind zwar superanstrengend, aber machen auch Spass und man trifft immer viele interessante Menschen….und wenn es dann noch gut laeuft….was will man mehr !!
Wuensche Dir und Deinen Lieben auch eine schoene Vorweihnachtszeit und gruesse ganz lieb aus Nova Scotia

Your craft space looks so cozy. This post put me in the Christmas mood. Beautiful wreaths and beautiful photos of snow and pine trees. I like the high ceilings in your home too. Our place up north has high ceilings, wish our home down in the city did. We got snow up north but not alot. There is more coming in Thursday but it doesn’t stay long. I know what you mean by having to take a break from posting. All this week I am posting re-post from months ago. I have a new post coming up this Saturday though and it is on one of our Arizona adventures. We went hiking at a garden and the views were amazing, then afterwards we went to some ancient ruins. The Apache Indian tribe was there singing, dancing and telling stories from their great grandfathers passed down. There were thousands of luminaries lit up around the old pueblo building and walls, it was so beautiful. Have a great weekend and keep up the good work, you guys are worker bees for sure.

I have to admit that I haven’t read any posts or blogs in the past weeks, so I’ll have a lot of catching up to do as soon as things calm down here a bit…no clue when that will be though 😉
But I have to have a look at your next one as the experience with the Apache tribe sounds amazing !!
Well, I better get going. Just packing the truck for the next fair and after that starting to lay our wood floor…….never done that before, so that’s gonna be interesting 😉

Beautiful display for the fair!! Seeing all that you can do in such a small space of the camper gives me hope for our upcoming adventure lol I have picked up a side job of selling jewelry and hope to continue on the road but have been working out the whole storing it along with displays situation. I’m really rooting for you guys to be in the house. Cant wait to find out if you made it…. on to the next blog!
